When creating a Project or Project Lead, if the user has more than one record type available, Salesforce shows a record type selector. Baucore’s own flow already has a record type selector embedded in it — so if a user creates a new record through the New option on the object tab instead, a double record type selector appears.
This is a Salesforce platform limitation, but it can be avoided per user with the steps below.
Set a default record type
This should be done for every user who creates Projects and Project Leads.
- Go to My Settings → Display & Layout → Set Default Record Types.
- Select the Project / Project Lead.
- Click Save.
