Pricing Methods for Products
In the Bill of Quantity (BOQ) Calculation and Project Quote Position, users select products and set their price. Baucore supports several methods for setting the Net Unit Price, controlled by fields on the Price Book Entry object — if these fields aren’t shown on your Price Book Entry page layout, ask your admin to add them.
Finding the Price Book Entry page
- Open a Product record.
- Go to the related list Price Book.
- Press Edit on the Price Book Entry record.
Pricing methods
Which options a user sees depends on the Pricing Method field’s value:

|---|---|
| List | The user influences the Net Unit Price by entering a percentage discount. |
| Cost | The user influences the Net Unit Price by entering a percentage markup on cost. |
| Net Unit Price | The user enters the Net Unit Price directly. |
Approval thresholds
Based on the Minimum List Unit Price L1 and Minimum List Unit Price L2 fields, the Approval Text field on Project Quote Position and BOQ Calculation is automatically set to L1 or L2 whenever the Net Unit Price falls below the corresponding threshold.
The approval workflow itself is not delivered with Baucore — you need to configure it in your org, using the Approval Text field (which may contain L1 or L2) as the condition driving your workflow.
