Deactivate Baucore Trigger

Sometimes it’s necessary to deactivate a trigger included in the Baucore managed package — for example during:

• Data migration
• Mass data updates

Steps

1. Go to Setup > Custom Metadata Types > BauCore TriggerSetting > Manage Records > New.
2. Enter any name for the Label and BauCore TriggerSetting Name fields.
3. Select the object whose trigger should be disabled.
4. Check the Deactivate trigger checkbox.

Re-enabling the trigger

Open the existing record in BauCore TriggerSetting and uncheck Deactivate trigger.

Every Baucore trigger checks this metadata before its handler runs, so this works per-object without any code deployment — remember to re-enable the trigger once your migration or mass update is finished, since leaving it disabled will stop the normal automation (status updates, recommendations, sync) for that object.
