Create BOQ Calculation

Baucore helps manage Bill of Quantity (BOQ) positions and create the calculations for their requirements. One BOQ record can contain one or multiple BOQ Lines, and one BOQ Line can contain one or more BOQ Calculations. A BOQ Line describes the requirement, and its BOQ Calculation records describe the products required to fulfill it.

There are two ways to create BOQ Lines: manual entry, or importing a GAEB x81 file.

Create a BOQ Line manually

  1. Open a BOQ record.
  2. Open the Summary tab to show the Lightning component that manages BOQ Lines.
  3. Press the + button to create a new BOQ Line.
  4. Fill in the necessary information, then press the save icon on the BOQ Line tab.

Created BOQ Lines appear in the Summary section on the left.

Create BOQ Calculations for a Line

  1. Select a BOQ Line from the Summary.
  2. Select the Calculation tab.
  3. Press the New button to insert a new product as a BOQ Calculation.
  4. Depending on the pricing method, different fields may be shown to influence the end price.
  5. Press the save icon — records aren’t saved automatically.

The total Net Unit Price of all non-Optional BOQ Calculations is aggregated to the BOQ Line as Net Amount. Net Amount is then divided by the number entered in the Demand field and shown as Net Amount per Unit.
