Import GAEB x81 File as BOQ

GAEB is a standard format used in Germany for tendering and contracting processes. If you receive a GAEB file as an Inquiry or Bill of Quantities (BOQ), you can upload it and select which positions become BOQ Lines automatically, instead of entering them by hand.

Steps

1. On the BOQ record, go to the Summary tab and press Upload.
2. Upload the GAEB x81 file.
3. Select the positions to import as BOQ Lines by checking the box to the left of each Position Number.
4. Select the appropriate Unit of Measurement.
5. Press Save.
