My Company

The My Company field on the Account object indicates that an Account represents your own company. This field is relevant for Submission Process, since it’s used to automatically add your account as producer on each of your Projects.
My Company is not shown on the default Account page layout — you need to add it yourself.
Add the field to your page layout
- Go to an Account record.
- Click the gear icon → Setup → Edit Object.
- Click Page Layouts and open the active page layout.
- Search for My company and drag it onto the desired position of the layout.
- Click Save.
- Return to the standard view of the account record and use the pencil icon to check My company on your own company’s Account.
This field should only be editable by the administrator or appropriate users — not open to all users.
