Manage Projects
A Project (Bauobjekt__c) is Baucore’s core sales record for a construction project — tracking phase, traffic-light status, financials, address, construction dates, and every participant and activity around it. This page is the map of how the pieces fit together; each linked page covers one part in depth.

Participants Recommendations & Follow-ups
A Project can optionally sit under a Main Project (Hauptbauobjekt__c), a parent record grouping several related Projects and Project Leads — useful for a single construction programme with multiple phases or buildings tracked as separate Projects.
What to look at first
- Project Home — the day-to-day list view of your Projects.
- Activity Overview — every task, event, call, and Chatter post tied to a Project in one place.
- Project Matching overview — how Baucore avoids duplicate Projects when new project data comes in.
- Automated Project Monitoring — the traffic-light status system (Automate Project Status Check covers scheduling it) that flags at-risk Projects without a rep having to check manually.
Creating and qualifying Projects
Most Projects start life as a Project Lead — an unqualified lead that’s promoted to a full Project once it clears qualification. See Create New Project and Project Lead for how new records get created (and matched against existing ones to avoid duplicates) either way.
Getting to a decision
As a Project reaches its tender deadline, Handle Inquiries to Quotes covers producing quotes for the companies bidding on it, and the Tender Submission Process covers recording who actually won — which in turn drives Loyalty, Performance, and Supply Chain intelligence for every account involved.
