Set Up Baucore Inbox from Outlook
Follow these steps to update or create an Email Application Pane in Outlook that surfaces Baucore Inbox directly from an open email (see Salesforce Help’s documentation on Email Application Panes for the general Outlook integration steps), then configure it to show the Baucore Inbox component and position it in the desired section of the page. Click Save and Activate.
What happens in Outlook
When you open an incoming email, the same flow described in Baucore Inbox — User Guide appears directly in the Salesforce pane inside Outlook. Designed specifically for Outlook, the email subject is automatically assigned as the project name, and the sender is automatically added as a participant.
- While extracting — the pane shows the extraction in progress.
- After extraction completes — the pane shows the extracted results, the same as opening the email in the Baucore Inbox app.
You don’t need to wait until extraction is fully completed. You can safely close or move away from the email at any time — once extraction finishes, the results are available the next time you reopen that email and access the Baucore Inbox component in the Salesforce pane.
